Special needs kids don’t need labels  | ajc.com

Over the past twelve months I have undergone a journey shared here in Special needs kids don’t need labels ajc.com.

On July 2, 2010, our beautiful son was born and we found out he came with a little "extra" known as Trisomy 21 or Down Syndrome. At the time I did not understand what exactly that means, and I am sure I still don't really know. All I do know is I have an overwhelming love for a darling little boy who is pretty much exactly like my other children.

I delight in him daily and thank God for bringing him, exactly as he is, into our family.
